Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology (TGPCET) Polytechnic was established in 2013 by Vidarbha Bahu-Uddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha (VBSS), a registered educational society. It is a self-financed private polytechnic institute affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute is also recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
